Somebody had better stop this before Harrison Ford dies. Despite a crappy fourth film, I want a fifth and final Indiana Jones movie-- A good one mind you without the 'Beef' kid and the wife.

I was searching Delicious for simple flash games and came across this gem of a game apparently called "Reflections".

Reflections laser gameThe game involves manipulating a laser beam to hit a designated target. In the picture above, the laser is to avoid the bombs and hit the lightbulb at the end of the maze.

If you're bored and looking for a time killer, check it out and post how far you get. I got 5 levels in.

The pitchman on infomercials such as Oxy-Clean has been found dead.

Billy Mays was discovered deceased by his wife at his home in Tampa.

Billy had given the internet a lot of great soundclips and pictures to work with. The 'Chans' of the internet are in mourning.

Billy Mays was 50 years old.

Transformers Explosion Michael Bay BOOM
I saw the second Transformers movie in theaters on Saturday, and if I hadn't seen it in Imax, I would fallen asleep.

Despite mediocre reviews of the first movie, I enjoyed it. I had no expectations for the film and didn't bother seeing it in theaters, but I was pleased overall with the film. The sequel, "Rise of the Fallen" had the same massive special-effects budget as the first film, but lacked a precise plot.

Here is a brief synopsis of the film:

*BOOM*

[Main Characters run from explosion in slow motion]

Shia Labeouf
"--INSERT WITTY LINE HERE--"

*ANOTHER EXPLOSION*

[Main Characters run from explosion in slow motion]

{Close-up of Megan Fox running in slow motion}

*BLAND GIANT ROBOTS FIGHT*

[Main Characters run from bland giant robots]

There were too many robot fights and too little plot points. It reminded me of the new Star Wars trilogy; too much action and little substance.

I'm holding out some faith for the next movie, and hoping that Michael Bay is dropped from the next film. With the success of the film on Wednesday it seems unlikely Paramount would mess with their current formula.

The Evening News: Remixed with Music and Autotune

I recently discovered a group of Youtube videos which I've been listening to nearly non-stop for the past week.

The series is called 'Auto-tune The News'. What the group does is take clips from major news outlets like MSNBC and CNN, and then 'Auto-tunes' them. Auto-tune is an audio editing plugin which allows for audio to be matched to specific music notes. Some call it the 'T-Pain' effect as he regularly uses it in his songs. This tuned audio is then set to some rather catchy beats resulting in an addictive song.

Besides doing news clips, the group also has taken speeches from Winston Churchill and John F. Kennedy and tuned them.

Check out the gang's Youtube page.

I've decided that I want to try and keep better maintenance of this good 'ol blog.

For the next thirty days I plan on posting one article a day. Hopefully that will get me into a habit of posting more often!
