Futureshop No Longer Offers DND/Military Discount!

I went into Futureshop today to pick up a Microsoft points card. Upon checking out, I pulled out my DND ID and instinctively asked for the 15% DND discount. The cashier then stated, "Oh sorry, we no longer do that." I must say, I was a little upset at first. Having to spend an extra two dollars wasn't a big deal. I had been very impressed and shocked that the store offered the discount in the first place, and it left Best Buy Co. with a positive impression in my mind.

I would definitely prefer to see the company reinstate their previous DND policy as I felt it was incredibly respectful of them, as a public company, to do.

Scribd: The Youtube of Documents

I've been using Scribd.com for a while now.

The website allows users to upload documents onto the website, and then be searched by category and tag.
I've uploaded various papers which I've written in the past. Its a great way to find book reports to give a synopsis of a book, or a person's review of it.

Check out by account under the alias Seanthebond, and create your own account to back up your docs!

Remembering Billy Mays: A Touching Video

I don't want the blog to seem like its turning into celebrity central, but I came across a video on the Discovery Channel which I found very emotional.

Its a video titled "Remembering Billy", with a brief history of Billy May's career, and a personal look at the man behind the voice. I felt connected to the man after seeing the video, which made me want to show the video to others by posting it here.

Check out the video here.
